Ambitious Management Accountant Required To Join A Dynamic Insurance Broker (Clear Career Path To Progress)

Your new companyI am working with a growing specialist, Lloyd's insurance broker in the heart of London, who are expanding their finance team and are looking to bring on a Part-Qualified / Finalist Management Accountant. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, you will play a key role in the financial operations of the firm, working within a collaborative team of five.This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated finance professional who is currently studying ACCA or CIMA, looking to refine their management accounting experience within the insurance sector.Your new role

  • Prepare and review monthly management accounts, including P&L analysis and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Assist with the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring accurate financial planning.
  • Perform variance analysis and provide insightful commentary on financial performance.
  • Manage cash flow reporting and assist in liquidity planning.
  • Support the monthly close process, including accruals, prepayments, and journal entries.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure compliance with regulatory and Lloyd's reporting requirements.
  • Assist in the audit process, providing required documentation and liaising with auditors.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders, providing financial insights to support business decisions.
  • Develop and improve financial controls and processes within the firm.
  • Handle multi-currency transactions and reconciliations in line with industry standards.
What you'll need to succeed
  • Experience working in an insurance finance team
  • Experience producing management accounts
  • Actively studying towards ACCA or CIMA
