Job Advertisement: Bricklayer and Bricklayer's Labourer Overview We are seeking skilled and dedicated professionals to join our team in London for a minimum of 6 months. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Bricklayers and Labourers to contribute to a new brickwork restoration project. The role offers 8.5 paid hours per day and requires individuals with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the necessary certifications. Responsibilities Bricklayer:
  • Perform high-quality brickwork restoration on the assigned project.
  • Ensure all work is completed to industry standards and project specifications.
  • Collaborate with the team to meet project deadlines.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
Bricklayer's Labourer:
  • Assist the Bricklayer with daily tasks, including mixing mortar ("knocking up").
  • Prepare and organize materials and tools for the Bricklayer.
  • Support the team in maintaining a safe and efficient worksite.
  • Carry out general labouring duties as required.
Qualifications Essential:
  • Valid CSCS Card.
  • Asbestos Awareness Certification.
  • Previous experience in brickwork or construction (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of health and safety practices on-site.
Desirable:
  • Experience in brick restoration projects.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Day-to-Day
  • Start the day by preparing the worksite and ensuring all tools and materials are ready.
  • Labourers will assist Bricklayers with mortar preparation and other support tasks.
  • Bricklayers will focus on executing precise and high-quality brickwork restoration.
  • Both roles will involve maintaining a clean and safe work environment throughout the day.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure project milestones are met efficiently.
