A respected multi-disciplinary consultancy based in Central London is looking to appoint a driven CDM Consultant to join their expanding design safety team. With a strong pipeline of both commercial and residential projects across London and the Southeast, this is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual eager to grow and adapt within a dynamic professional environment.

The CDM Consultant will work closely with project teams to help deliver CDM 2015 compliance, whilst enjoy career development from a business who have a track record of facilitating early career growth.

The CDM Consultant's role

The CDM Consultant will support the delivery of Principal Designer duties and act as Principal Designer when necessary, working closely with architects, designers, and contractors. You will attend meetings, review health and safety documentation, and contribute to design risk assessments.

The CDM Consultant will have

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a CDM Consultant or related Principal Designer role
  • NEBOSH Construction Certificate (essential)
  • Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction-related discipline (preferred)
  • Good knowledge of CDM 2015 Regulations
  • Able to learn quickly and adapt within a fast-paced project environment
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Working towards APS or IOSH membership (advantageous)
