Salary: 60,000 - 80,000 Location: London Type: Permanent
We are working with a leading office fit-out and refurbishment specialist in London who are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on fast-paced, design-led CAT A, CAT A+, and CAT B commercial fit-out projects for major corporates, tech firms, and blue-chip clients across the capital.
The successful candidate will play a key commercial role across multiple live projects, ensuring effective cost control, subcontractor management, and strong financial reporting. You will work alongside Project Managers and Designers to deliver high-quality office spaces that prioritise functionality, creativity, and end-user experience.
Key Responsibilities:Manage the full commercial delivery of office fit-out projects ranging from 250k- 10m+.
Prepare cost plans, bills of quantities, and tender documentation.
Lead subcontractor procurement, negotiation, and contract administration.
Produce valuations, variations, CVRs, and final accounts.
Work closely with project teams to maintain strict commercial control and profitability.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
Provide accurate forecasting, cashflow projections, and commercial reports.
3+ years' experience as a QS within office fit-out, commercial interiors, or refurbishment.
Strong understanding of JCT contracts and commercial processes.
Experience working on CAT A / CAT B workplace projects is highly desirable.
Confident communicator, capable of influencing stakeholders and presenting commercial information clearly.
Organised, detail-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced fit-out environment.
Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field (preferred).
