With a strong pipeline of high-profile projects and blue-chip clients, this is your opportunity to make a real difference.Key Responsibilities:Lead bridge design projects from feasibility through to detailed design and cost estimationConduct bridge inspections and structural assessmentsReview and verify design and assessment workDevelop analytical models and perform structural calculationsPrepare technical reports and health & safety risk assessmentsMentor and support junior engineers to ensure high-quality project deliveryOversee CAD/BIM technicians in producing technical drawings and modelsUndertake site visits as requiredAbout YouDegree in Civil Engineering (BEng/MEng, MSc or equivalent)Chartered Engineer (CEng ICE or IStructE), or working towards chartershipPassionate about contributing to the growth and success of our UK Bridges teamSkills & ExperienceStrong knowledge of DMRB and MCDHW for highway structuresExperience preparing Technical Approval documentationProficient in Eurocodes for bridge and civil structure designSkilled in the design and assessment of steel, reinforced, and prestressed concrete bridgesFamiliar with structural analysis and design software (e.g., Midas, LUSAS, Autodesk SBD)Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
