Kenna Recruitment has a new exciting opportunity for a Senior Information Manager to join one of the UK's most well known Tier 1 Construction and Engineering Contractors
With a strong pipeline of complex, large-scale projects across the UK, we are expanding our digital delivery team and are looking for a Senior Information Manager to play a critical role in ensuring the effective coordination, implementation, and management of digital information strategies across projects.
Role Overview
As a Senior Information Manager, you will lead the information management strategy and ensure best practices in digital construction delivery. You'll be responsible for overseeing information workflows, ensuring BIM compliance, and providing strategic direction on data and document control across major infrastructure and building projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation and management of BIM and ISO 19650 standards across the project.
- Manage Common Data Environment (CDE) systems such as ProjectWise, Viewpoint, Asite, or Autodesk BIM 360.
- Collaborate with project teams, design consultants, and subcontractors to ensure consistency in information exchange and coordination.
- Provide training and mentorship to Information Coordinators and Document Controllers.
- Monitor data compliance, carry out audits, and drive continuous improvement.
- Coordinate BIM meetings of the federated model with designers and project team.
- Liaise with project stakeholders to ensure the digital delivery aligns with client and contract requirements.
- Contribute to the development and roll-out of company-wide digital construction initiatives.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role within the construction sector.
- Strong understanding of BIM Level 2+ and ISO 19650 standards.
- Experience using CDE platforms (e.g., Viewpoint, BIM 360, Asite, ProjectWise).
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to drive cultural change around digital delivery.
- Relevant qualifications in construction, engineering, information management, or a related field.
- BIM certification or training.
