Role Overview: As a Senior / Principal Building Physics Engineer, you will be involved in all design stages of projects, from early-stage concept development to detailed design and construction. Your role will involve close collaboration with clients, architects, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver sustainable and high-performance building solutions.
Key Responsibilities: Lead building physics analyses, including energy modeling, thermal comfort assessments, and daylight simulations. Engage directly with clients, providing expert advice and building strong relationships. Participate in design team meetings, confidently presenting and challenging design concepts to ensure optimal outcomes. Collaborate with architects and engineers to integrate sustainable design strategies into projects. Mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
Qualifications: Proven experience in building physics engineering, with a strong portfolio of completed projects. Proficiency in relevant simulation tools (e.g., IES-VE). Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to sustainable design principles.
