Graduate Town Planner - Leading London Planning Consultancy

Are you a recent or soon-to-be graduate with a passion for shaping cities and delivering complex planning projects? We are currently working on behalf of a highly respected, independent planning consultancy based in Central London that is looking to expand its talented team.

This is a rare opportunity to join a top-tier planning consultancy that works on some of the most high-profile and challenging development projects in London and the South East. From landmark mixed-use schemes to transformative urban regeneration, this firm is known for its deep planning expertise, collaborative culture, and commitment to social impact.

The Role

You'll be part of a close-knit and highly experienced team, contributing to a wide range of live planning projects from day one. The firm operates at the forefront of town planning, offering clients end-to-end support - from site promotion and policy engagement to application strategy and negotiation.

Expect exposure to major projects, mentoring from leading industry professionals, and clear progression opportunities within a firm that genuinely invests in its people.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We're looking for someone with:

  • A strong academic background, ideally including a planning-related degree (RTPI-accredited preferable, but not essential)

  • Excellent A-level results (e.g. AAB or higher or equivalent)

  • Ideally, some relevant work experience or internships in planning, property, real estate, or a related field - particularly within London

  • A genuine interest in London's built environment and planning system

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • A proactive attitude, attention to detail, and a desire to learn
