We are seeking an inspirational individual to take up the post of Acting Tutor: Screen and Digital, who will lead on this enhanced strand of work on the BA acting programme and contribute to its development across the Drama Department.

Our training is highly regarded in the industry for the passion, quality and rigour of the teaching: renowned for the combined focus on craft training, care and attention to individual student development, and the strong ensemble ethic shared by staff and students. We place inclusive, pioneering and progressive practice at the core of our training.

We are seeking someone with current working industry experience and networks to lead on and develop this area of practice. As screen work (across TV, film and digital) will form the bulk of an actor's portfolio we are ambitious to develop our teaching and learning in acting for camera, self-taping, live streaming and screen project work to ensure our students are developing the craft and experience they need to flourish. In addition, as online platforms, gaming, VR and hybrid practice continue to play a fundamental role in the innovation and delivery of the arts, it is crucial our students have an experience of working at the forefront of these technologies.
