Key Responsibilities - behaviour Manager - Brent

  • Oversee and manage the behaviour of students across the school, ensuring a positive and safe learning environment.
  • Develop and implement behaviour management strategies tailored to individual students' needs.
  • Lead a team of Behaviour Mentors and Learning Support Assistants to ensure consistency in approach and delivery.
  • Work closely with the SENCO and senior leadership team to create and monitor personalised behaviour plans.
  • Provide support to staff in managing challenging behaviour and offer advice on de-escalation techniques.
  • Liaise with parents, carers, and external agencies to ensure holistic support for students.
  • Monitor and track students' progress, regularly reviewing behaviour plans and adjusting strategies as necessary.
  • Promote positive behaviour and help students build essential social and emotional skills for success.

  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and use initiative in difficult situations.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
