Cover Supervisor - Flexible Days - Ealing, West London

A large and inclusive secondary school in Ealing is looking for Cover Supervisors to join their team from September 2025. This is a day-to-day supply role offering flexible working days, making it an ideal opportunity for university students, recent graduates, or aspiring teachers looking to gain experience in education.

The school offers a welcoming and supportive environment, with well-behaved students and a strong pastoral team. Candidates must be confident managing behaviour and able to maintain a calm, professional presence in the classroom.

Cover Supervisor - Role Overview:
  • Supervise classes across a range of subjects in the absence of the regular teacher

  • Ensure a calm, focused learning environment and manage classroom behaviour effectively

  • Follow lesson plans provided by teaching staff and ensure students stay on task

  • Act as a positive role model and promote high expectations for behaviour and learning

  • Provide support to students where needed and liaise with teaching staff as required

Ideal Candidate:
  • Experience working with young people or in a school environment

  • Confident managing behaviour and maintaining classroom order

  • Flexible, reliable, and available for early morning calls

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
