History Teacher

A large secondary school based in Ealing are looking for a history teacher. School are looking for someone to start on a long term maternity cover contract from after the October half term until July 2026. This position is full time. Working hours are from 8:30am to 3:30pm. Salary will match Inner London MPS/UPS. School has available parking spaces.

History Teacher - Ealing, London

Deliver engaging and dynamic history lessons across KS3 and KS4, encouraging students to explore key historical events, people, and themes. Foster critical thinking, analytical skills, and historical curiosity through discussions, debates, and source-based learning. Encourage students to make connections between the past and the present, helping them understand the relevance of history in today's world. Create a supportive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment that promotes respect and high expectations. Contribute to the wider school community and collaborate effectively with colleagues to maintain high standards within the humanities faculty.
