An ambitious and inclusive secondary school in Ealing is looking for a compassionate and motivated Learning Mentor to support pupils with academic and emotional needs. This Learning Mentor role in Ealing offers a fantastic opportunity for a graduate with a background in Psychology, Sociology or Youth Work to gain valuable school-based experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide targeted 1:1 mentoring for students with barriers to learning
  • Support small intervention groups focused on confidence, organisation, or exam preparation
  • Build trusting relationships with students to promote engagement
  • Liaise with pastoral staff and SENCOs to implement personalised support plans
  • Monitor progress and contribute to student reviews

Requirements:

  • A degree (Psychology, Education or Social Sciences ideal)
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a calm, empathetic approach
  • Ability to motivate and mentor young people
  • A passion for supporting student development and wellbeing
