Job Title: QTS Tutor - Maths & English (GCSE) Location: Islington Pay Rate: 25- 35 per hour Job Type: Temporary Part-Time Flexible Hours

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and curriculum- aligned tuition in Maths and English up to GCSE level.
  • Plan and deliver personalised lessons that meet individual learning needs.
  • Support students with a range of abilities, including those with additional learning needs.
  • Monitor progress, set achievable targets, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Foster a positive and motivating learning environment.

Requirements:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is essential.
  • Experience teaching Maths and/or English at secondary GCSE level.
  • Strong subject knowledge and abiity to adapt lessons to different learners.
  • Enhanced DBS check ( or willingness to obtain one).
  • Right to work in the UK.

Desired:

  • Experience supporting students with SEN or SEMH needs.
  • Background in tutoring or delivering targeted interventions.
