Part-Time Science Teacher - Ealing, London - January 2026 Start
A thriving and inclusive secondary school in Ealing is seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to join their team from January 2026. This is a part-time position, working 2 to 3 days per week, with flexibility on which science discipline (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics) the candidate specialises in. The role will run for at least two terms, with the potential to extend beyond July 2026. The school is offering pay in line with the Inner London MPS/UPS.

Role Responsibilities:Deliver engaging, well-structured science lessons in your subject specialism to Key Stage 3 and/or 4 students.
Plan effectively to support students of varying abilities and backgrounds.
Monitor and assess progress, providing feedback that helps students meet or exceed targets.
Create a safe, inclusive, and dynamic classroom that encourages participation and independent thinking.
Contribute to the wider science department through collaboration and shared planning.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
A degree in a science subject (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics)
Strong subject knowledge and an ability to communicate concepts clearly
Experience teaching science at secondary level
A commitment to inclusive, high-quality teaching and learning
