Economics Teacher - Ealing, Inner London

A high-performing secondary school based in Ealing is seeking a qualified Teacher of Economics to join their successful team from September 2025. This is a full-time position available on either a permanent contract or a long-term agency basis, depending on the candidate's preference and experience.

The school is open to early career teachers as well as experienced practitioners who are passionate about delivering Economics to motivated and engaged students. Working hours are 8:30am to 3:30pm.

Salary will reflect the Inner London MPS/UPS pay scale.

Economics Teacher - Ealing, Inner London

Deliver engaging and challenging Economics lessons across Key Stages 4 and 5, developing students' analytical and evaluative skills. Inspire students to think critically about economic systems, financial literacy, and global markets. Support student achievement by fostering a strong classroom culture of curiosity, independence, and academic ambition. Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities within the Social Sciences faculty. Promote high standards of learning, assessment, and student progress through effective teaching and feedback.

Qualifications and Person Specification: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - must be qualified in Economics A degree in Economics or a closely related subject Proven ability to teach A-Level Economics is highly desirable Strong subject knowledge and the ability to inspire a love of learning Excellent classroom management and organisational skills A collaborative and reflective approach to teaching
