Associate Director-Mechanical: St Pauls (£80-90k)

I am currently working on behalf of a leading design consultancy client based in London who are looking to take on a skilled Associate Mechanical Director to join their team and lead up some of their largest and most critical projects (in the UK and Middle East). Established over 60 years ago, this company have much to offer including a wide coverage of project sectors, a brilliant salary package and years worth of industry knowledge and support to give.

They are currently working on projects in both the UK and The Middle East, these include: Culture, Residential and Mix-Use, New Build and Office Fit Out, Education , Energy, Hotels and Leisure and Aviation. Working on both large scale and small works, the majority of these projects are at high value and work closely with the likes of architects and tier one contractors. This is a brilliant opportunity for a forward thinking candidate who is ready to take responsibility for luxury and high-end work.

Responsibilities for the Associate Mechanical Director:

• Team lead junior engineers, ensuring all project deadlines are met and completed accurately.
• Head up large scale projects simultaneously.
• Perform client facing tasks including regular meetings to update them with project progression.
• Meet and discuss project updates with other teams on the job.
• Modify and finalise design specifications and all calculations.
• Represent your discipline both internally and externally to partners and clients.
• Proficient in all relevant software, and able to transfer these skills onto junior engineers.
• Confident and forward thinking coming into a new team and being able to represent the company well.
