About the RoleAs a CBRE Critical Services Technician, you will support the shift leader and carry out all statutory and non-statutory planned preventative maintenance works across site including completion of all associated documentation required to maintain compliance. The reporting of failures / noncompliance and the implementation of agreed solutions. To also complete reactive tasks and daily checks / readings as required in accordance with agreed service levels.Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that routine maintenance is carried out to all building plant, equipment, and systems to meet and exceed expectations and agreed service level agreements.
- Respond to building management alarms and effect emergency repairs as needed.
- To update and maintain day to day Planned Preventative Maintenance records.
- Integrate fully with all different departments to ensure seamless delivery of services, such as project teams etc.
- Responsible for escalation of all incidents and writing of incident reports ensuring approved escalation procedure is adhered to.
- Maintenance and responsibility of critical equipment that serves critical areas for the client such as data centers and SER's
- Safely operate all systems within the building in a competent, effective, and efficient manner
- Ensure that method statements and risk assessments (including dynamic risk assessments) are prepared for all tasks carried out to ensure safe working practices.
- Ensure the provision of a safe & healthy working environment and ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as client site policies, procedures and working arrangements as required.
- Ensure a professional image of CBRE is presented to clients and visitors and ensure excellence in customer service is delivered and always promoted.
- Maintaining and developing technical skills through a commitment to personal development and life-long-learning.
- City and guilds qualification and any relevant qualification in the electrical/engineering field as well as 3-5 years' experience in a similar role.

- Proven experience as an Engineer in building services working in a critical environment.
- Experience working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Comfortable working a continental shift pattern (including weekends and nights)
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work of own initiative when it comes to reactive tasks.
