They are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Pre-Contract Manager to join their London-based team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially aware professional to play a key role in shaping and securing future projects.
The RoleAs an Electrical Pre-Contract Manager, you will be responsible for managing all pre-contract activities for electrical projects. This includes client engagement, tender preparation, risk assessment, and ensuring that all planning and documentation align with both business objectives and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities- Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring a clear understanding of project requirements.
- Prepare, review, and assess tender documentation for electrical projects.
- Define bid strategies and collaborate with supply chain partners.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
- Lead contract negotiations and client-facing meetings.
- Provide technical input on electrical building services and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Work closely with estimating teams, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to inform strategic planning.
- Proven experience in Electrical Building Services and MEP projects.
- Strong understanding of commercial electrical systems and contract management.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and technical documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Relevant qualifications in Electrical Engineering, Construction, or Building Services.
- Salary: Up to £55,000 depending on experience
- Bonus: 10% annual bonus, paid biannually based on company performance
- Holidays: 20 days annual leave + bank holidays + 3 additional days off at Christmas
- Pension: 3% employer contribution
- Travel: Travel expenses to and from sites covered
