The Company

Our client is a well-established and growing organisation within the electrical building services sector. They are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Pre-Contract Manager to join their London-based team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially aware professional to play a key role in shaping and securing future projects.

The Role

As an Electrical Pre-Contract Manager, you will be responsible for managing all pre-contract activities for electrical projects. This includes client engagement, tender preparation, risk assessment, and ensuring that all planning and documentation align with both business objectives and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring a clear understanding of project requirements.
  • Prepare, review, and assess tender documentation for electrical projects.
  • Define bid strategies and collaborate with supply chain partners.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Lead contract negotiations and client-facing meetings.
  • Provide technical input on electrical building services and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Work closely with estimating teams, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to inform strategic planning.
Candidate Requirements
  • Proven experience in Electrical Building Services and MEP projects.
  • Strong understanding of commercial electrical systems and contract management.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and technical documentation.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Relevant qualifications in Electrical Engineering, Construction, or Building Services.
What's on Offer
  • Salary: Up to £55,000 depending on experience
