My client, a highly-respected, innovative Multidisciplinary Consultancy is searching for a Graduate Civil Engineer (Infrastructure and Drainage) to join their growing team of engineering and design experts, in the lively, diverse Capital City of London.

Essential Criteria:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering
  • A knowledge of flood risk and drainage strategies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team
  • A willingness to learn and consistently develop technical skills and knowledge through self-study and hands-on experience

It would also be beneficial for applicants for the role of Graduate Civil Engineer (Infrastructure and Drainage) to have the following:

  • Working knowledge of a range of relevant software packages, including AutoCAD, Civils 3D, etc.
  • A demonstrable commitment to improving your knowledge and skills in the field

As a Graduate Civil Engineer (Infrastructure and Drainage), you will be joining a growing team of dedicated engineering specialists, working on a number of varied, high-profile projects across the region. As you progress through your career, you will take on a range of different responsibilities, including the following:

  • Contributing to projects that develop flood risk and drainage strategies
  • Working with the wider team to ensure project goals are delivered to the highest standard and within given timeframes
  • Undertaking the relevant technical analysis using software packages such as AutoCAD, etc.
  • Preparing and issuing accurate technical information regarding projects, including calculations, drawings, and models
  • Liaising with a range of public and private stakeholders across the sector
  • Contributing to and carrying out site meetings and inspections
  • Developing and maintaining client relations
  • Managing aspects of projects, adhering to industry standards, designated budgets, and agreed timelines
