Lead Maintenance Engineer London Bridge £54,000 - £56,000 An exciting opportunity for a Lead Engineer to work for a leading FM service provider on a prestigious contract near London Bridge. Working for a highly esteemed maintenance provider, the Lead Engineer will be supervising a team of Day Engineers working a Monday to Friday week with the hours being 8-5 . You will be responsible for mechanical and electrical planned and reactive maintenance, remedial works and emergency response on site. The Lead Engineer will ideally be Mechanically biased holding City and Guilds / NVQ qualifications whilst also being multi skilled with good all round building services maintenance knowledge. Duties
- PPMs & Reactive maintenance
- Single and Three Phase Power, Motors, Generators (on/off load tests), UPS, LV/HV switching, Shutdowns, Switchgear, Motors, Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarm Test, AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, CRAC units, Sprinkler Systems, Pumps, Belts, Bearings, Seals, BMS Operation
- Carry out isolation of plant and systems in accordance with safety requirements.
- Ensure corrective/repair works are carried out in accordance with regulations.
- Endorse safe working practices, quality standards conformity and best practice methods.
- Organising subcontractors
- Completing logbooks and RAMS
- Reports
- Liaising with client representatives in respect of corrective repair works.
- Permits to work
- Raise and close jobs on PDA's as necessary.
- City & Guilds / NVQ (or equivalent) qualification in Mechanical Engineering
- Ability to lead a days engineering maintenance team
- Building Services Maintenance experience
