Maintenance EngineerLiverpool Street£46,000 - £48,000 We are recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to join an established facilities management team at a prestigious commercial building in Liverpool Street, London. This is a single-site position offering a competitive salary, Monday-to-Friday working hours and the opportunity to work within a supportive engineering team. The role would suit an electrically or mechanically qualified engineer with a strong background in building maintenance who enjoys a varied, hands-on position. The Role:

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across the building.
• Complete routine site inspections and engineering checks.
• Respond to reactive maintenance issues, identifying faults and carrying out repairs.
• Undertake general electrical, mechanical and minor fabric maintenance, including lighting faults, leaks and water-related issues.
• Manage and supervise specialist subcontractors, ensuring works are completed safely and to the required standard.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure compliance with site procedures.
• Work closely with the Engineering Manager, Compliance Manager and wider engineering team to maintain the building to a high standard.
• Participate in a 1-in-4 call-out rota.

About You:

• Electrically or mechanically qualified, with a relevant engineering qualification.
• Confident carrying out PPM, reactive maintenance and general building services repairs.
• Able to diagnose faults and undertake a range of electrical or mechanical maintenance tasks within your competence.
• Experienced in working within commercial buildings or similar environments.
• Comfortable coordinating specialist contractors and working as part of a wider engineering team.
• Reliable, proactive and able to maintain high standards of service delivery.

Working Hours & Package:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm (7:00am 4:00pm may also be available).
• Salary of £46,000 - £48,000.
• Call out 1 in 4 - £100 call-out retainer per rota period.
• Overtime opportunities available.
• Single-site position based in Liverpool Street, London.
• Potential progression to Lead Engineer.
• 25 Days annual leave + Bank Holidays
