Mobile Multiskilled Engineer
Annual
- Identify and manage risks associated with equipment on site, including updating drawings, identifying critical spares, and improving equipment performance
- Conduct fault-finding on all types of machinery, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
- Provide electrical and mechanical expertise to the maintenance department, working on heavy industrial machines and overhead cranes
- Write and follow risk assessments and method statements, ensuring a safe and accurate working environment
- Use mobile devices to accurately project and complete works from the CAFM maintenance system
- Liaise with onsite site services to manage building services-related issues
- Deputise for the shift leader during annual leave or sickness
- Work overtime as required, including nights and weekends
- Recognised or time-served apprenticeship in electrical or mechanical engineering
- Strong proven experience in manufacturing maintenance experience
- Electrical competences to a minimum of City and Guilds 236 Pt 1-2 Electrical qualifications to 17th Edition
- Mechanical competences to an acceptable standard to City and Guild's Mechanical
- Good multi-skilled ability, with experience working on 3-phase motors, drives, and inverters
- Hydraulic and pneumatic experience
- Ability to fault-find and diagnose PLC systems
- NVQ qualifications to Level 2, Electrical and Mechanical
- Ability to supervise contractors and write risk and method statements
- Working at height qualification
- IPAF certification
- AP qualifications
