My client, a UK based Consultancy which specialises in Flood Risk and Drainage Engineering, is searching for a Senior Drainage Engineer to lead their Team in London. It is essential that applicants have a strong academic background in Engineering (including a BSc and MSc in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering) and have experience working within a UK based Consultancy completing flood risk assessments, surface water drainage strategies and detailed Drainage designs using Infodrainage, Microdrainage or Causeway Flow. It is also beneficial for applicants to have experience managing projects and mentoring staff. Typically the role will involve the following; -Residential, Commercial and Industrial Development Projects. -Detailed Drainage and Foul Water designs using Microdrainage and Infodrainage. -Surface Water Management Plans. -Sewer and SuDS designs using Infodrainage and Flow. -Flood Risk Assessments. -Hydraulic Modelling and GIS Mapping. -Frequent liaison with Private Sector Clients, Housing Developers and Business Associates to develop business opportunities.
