Shift EngineerLiverpool Street, City of London £50,000This is an outstanding opportunity for a Shift Maintenance Engineer to gain exposure on a high end, state of the art, commercial property in the City of London! Easily commutable, great team on site and you will be gaining additional training, being put through a High Voltage course. This is a static role, following a continental shift pattern, days and nights. For this role, you will be given the responsibility of carrying out Planned Preventative and Reactive Maintenance on site, report into your shift leader, actively fault find on M&E equipment and ensure all client needs are met.This is a flagship site for our client, which is also semi - critical so it is vital that standards are kept at a high standard.To be considered for this role, you will need to be fully qualified in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (Level 2 / 3 - either in City and Guilds / NVQ / EAL or equivalent), 3 + years in commercial maintenance, a good knowledge on mechanical and electrical systems and the ability to communicate well with the maintenance team and client on site Job Duties:

• Carry out PPM and Reactive Maintenance
• Fault find issues on M&E equipment and rectify them if possible
• Report into your shift leader whilst on shift
• Ensure the client issues and concerns are adhered to
• Single and 3 phase power maintenance
• Involved in the site switching and shutdowns
• M&E Planned and Reactive maintenance - EML and Fire Alarm tests, AHU, FCU, minor Plumbing and Fabric maintenance, lighting & lamping repairs etc.
• Execute routine servicing, repair, and adjustment of machinery or equipment
• Daily checks on plant rooms and boiler rooms
• Liaise with sub contractors

Job Requirements:

• Qualifications in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (Level 2 / 3 in either - City and Guilds / NVQ / EAL or equivalent)
• 3 + years experience in commercial maintenance
• Great communication skills
• Experience in semi critical / critical experience would be beneficial, not essential
• Apprentice trained - Desirable
