Ealing Council is looking for experienced Occupational Therapists (Scale 8-10) to join our dynamic Adult Social Care team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of Ealing residents by supporting independence, wellbeing, and safety at home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a varied caseload based on experience - from straightforward OT needs (Scale 8) to complex, high-risk cases (Scale 10)

  • Carry out specialist assessments in service users' homes and develop person-centred care plans

  • Recommend and arrange appropriate equipment and home adaptations, including detailed specifications and scale drawings

  • Prescribe wheelchairs and undertake moving & handling risk assessments

  • Support customers and families through major changes such as rehousing or large adaptations

  • Work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams

Requirements:

  • HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist

  • Experience in adult social care or community OT

  • Skilled in risk assessment, care planning, and housing-related OT interventions

  • Confident working independently and managing complex cases
