Ealing Council is seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Occupational Therapist to join our Adult Social Care team. This full-time role offers a fantastic opportunity for an experienced OT to step into a senior position, leading on complex cases and supporting the development of junior staff within a supportive, multidisciplinary environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of complex and high-risk cases with minimal supervision

  • Carry out advanced OT assessments and develop creative, cost-effective care plans

  • Lead on major and bespoke home adaptations, including drawing detailed specifications and coordinating with contractors

  • Provide clinical supervision, advice, and support to OT colleagues at Scales 8-10

  • Contribute to service development, audit, and strategic planning

  • Support families through significant life and environmental changes

  • Represent OT at multidisciplinary meetings and ensure best practice in care delivery

Requirements:

  • HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist

  • Significant post-qualifying experience in adult social care or community OT

  • Proven ability to manage complex cases independently

  • Experience supervising or mentoring junior staff

  • Excellent knowledge of equipment, housing adaptations, and manual handling

  • Strong leadership, communication, and case management skills
