Job Description

You will collaborate closely with internal teams across the financial services practice to develop and implement effective business development strategies, contributing to the overall growth and success of the organisation.

As a Business Development Associate Director, you will:

• Identify and establish relationships with potential clients, nurturing leads and opportunities.
• Work with a collaborative national marketing function and business leaders on business development strategy for growth accounts and the mid-market.
• Connect across service-line teams within the financial services sector.
• Engage prospective clients through effective communication and presentations to showcase services and value propositions.
• Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders and industry influencers to enhance market presence.
• Represent the organisation at industry events, conferences and networking opportunities to build strategic partnerships and alliances.
• Prepare regular reports and presentations summarising business development activity, progress and outcomes.

The minimum criteria include a proven track record of business development within a B2B environment, engaging at C-suite level within professional services.

It would be beneficial to have some of the following skills and experience:

• Thorough understanding of lead generation, sales and identifying cold targets.
• Strong understanding of market dynamics, industry trends, particularly across the financial services sector, and competitive landscapes.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
