Are you a visionary Data Architect ready to shape the future of data in a world-renowned cultural institution? We're working with a prestigious organisation embarking on a major digital and data transformation - and they need a strategic and hands-on Data Architect to lead the charge.

This is a rare opportunity to join a high-impact transformation programme at a pivotal moment. You'll be instrumental in designing and implementing the organisation's first enterprise-wide data strategy, building a trusted, AI-ready data estate, and enabling advanced analytics across departments including HR, Finance, Commercial, and Digital.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Define and lead the enterprise data strategy and governance framework.
  • Architect scalable, Azure-based data platforms to support BI, analytics, and AI.
  • Integrate fragmented data sources into a unified, accessible, and secure data ecosystem.
  • Enable predictive analytics and machine learning through clean, well modelled datasets.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to align data initiatives with strategic goals.
  • Promote ethical and sustainable data practices, including compliance with GDPR.

What We're Looking For:

  • Significant experience in data architecture, with a strong track record in enterprise data strategy and systems integration.
  • Deep expertise in Azure data services e.g. Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, Azure Databricks.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills - able to translate complex data concepts into business value.
  • Experience preparing data estates for AI/ML, including data lineage and model input pipelines.
  • Ideally, experience in public sector, cultural, or not-for-profit environments (though this is not essential)

What's On Offer:

  • A salary of up to 74,000 depending on experience
  • 29 days annual leave plus bank holidays
  • A generous pension scheme

This is more than a technical role - it's a chance to shape the data future of a globally respected institution. If you're passionate about data strategy, architecture, and enabling innovation through insight, we'd love to hear from you.
