Data Scientist 12 months (Hybrid London) £540 p/d Inside IR35

We are seeking a Data Scientist to analyse and interpret large datasets from multiple sources, applying algorithms, machine learning, AI, and statistical tools. You will work closely with business teams to identify issues and propose data-driven solutions for decision-making. Responsibilities include building algorithms, designing experiments, and creating tailored reports. Skills Required:

• Demonstrate writing high quality production-grade Python code, using a range of libraries and frameworks: Pandas, numpy, scipy, scikit-learn, Tensorflow, PyTorch, OpenCV, Pydantic etc.
• Experience with Oracle database and/or PostgreSQL. You must be able to understand and write SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from existing and new relational (SQL) data stores is a key requirement.
• Experience using AWS cloud technologies and ecosystem including: S3, lambda functions, AWSTextract, CodeCommit, Cloud9, SageMaker etc.
• Proven experience in a range of AI and data science fields: data wrangling, data visualisation, natural language processing, computer vision, deep learning, and statistical inference.
• Proficiency in machine learning, statistical techniques, and model testing
• Ability to create clear, compelling reports and assess data-gathering techniques
• Strong problem-solving skills using algorithms and data-driven insights
• Ability to meet deadlines under pressure with attention to detail
