Our client, a major UK retail bank, provides every day banking services to over 17 million retail customers. The banks expertise and services span across Business Services, Corporate banking, Wealth Management, Group Functions, Retail and Investment Banking.On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a MiFID II Business Analyst with experience in RTS-6 Remediations for an initial 6-month contract (scope for extension). This role is hybrid in London with an expected 2 days/week in the office.

Purpose of the role:

Fantastic opportunity to join one of the UK's largest and most respected banking groups on a MiFID II RTS 6 remediation programme. The annual regulatory questionnaire is concluding (as part of their Annual Self Assessment), and the bank is preparing to act on the findings to ensure continued compliance and strengthen controls across its trading platform.

This is a strategically important piece of work, visible to senior stakeholders and audit teams, and offers the chance to play a pivotal role in delivering tangible regulatory change. You'll join an experienced team, take ownership of critical remediation tasks, and directly contribute to the bank's broader risk and compliance agenda.

What you'll do:

  • Deliver and track MiFID II RTS 6 remediation actions following the annual questionnaire findings.

  • Own the end-to-end analysis, documentation and delivery of remediation items.

  • Engage and consult with business and technology stakeholders to clarify requirements and agree on solutions.

  • Prepare materials and updates for governance, audit or regulatory reporting.

  • Work independently to keep remediation work progressing and escalate blockers where needed.

The skills you'll need:

  • Strong Business Analyst experience on regulatory change, compliance or risk projects within Financial Services.
  • Solid understanding of RTS-6.

  • Confident communicator able to engage senior stakeholders and manage competing priorities.

  • Self-starter, comfortable taking ownership of analysis and delivery.
