Are you a fully qualified maintenance electrician, looking for your next static maintenance role in London? This Maintenance Electrician role is based on the Strand. You will be working in the day shift team with hours of 8-4 Monday - Friday. If you have had enough of working for a service provider, being on call non stop, working over 40 hours a week, and want a better work life balance, then this is the role for you!

In addition to a starting salary of up to £37,296 you will be offered:

Within this Static Maintenance role you will be responsible for a variety of electrical maintenance tasks. This will include:

  • Undertaking planned preventative electrical maintenance tasks (PPMs) and reactive electrical maintenance in commercial buildings on the Strand.
  • Working as a dedicated team and reporting to a team leader
  • Liaising with sub contractors on site
  • Involved in general building services maintenance

To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates to have the following skills and experience:

Essential criteria

  • Level 3 award/certificate in electrical field or equivalent or time serviced apprenticeship (Electrical) and strong, demonstrable competencies in electrical trades. You must be a fully qualified electrician with a level 2 and 3 and 17th / 18th edition.
  • Good knowledge of engineering designs, installations, maintenance and repairs
  • Good understanding of health and safety processes and policies, ideally with the IOSH
  • Effective communication skills in order to convey information clearly
  • IT literate (Excel, Teams and Microsoft packages) and ability to work from an iPad
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to offer guidance on requests
