The role

We are seeking a Senior Sponsorship Sales Executive to drive commercial partnerships and sponsorship sales across our industry-leading event(s). This role is ideal for a driven, proactive, and target-oriented individual who thrives in consultative selling, developing long-term client relationships, and owning the full sales cycle from prospecting through to on-site delivery and post-event engagement.

What you ll be doing

Lead Generation & Market Research

  • Identify and research high-potential leads within your assigned industry sector.
  • Develop a strong understanding of market trends, key players, and evolving client needs.
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified prospects using CRM tools and other platforms.

Partnership Creation & Development

  • Develop consultative, long-term relations w/senior decision-makers (C-suite/ Director-level).
  • Understand clients business goals and position our offerings as value-driven solutions.
  • Conduct effective discovery calls and sales meetings (virtual and in-person).

Sales Execution & Revenue Generation

  • Achieve and exceed monthly & quarterly sponsorship sales targets.
  • Write compelling sponsorship proposals, identifying individual client needs.
  • Negotiate and close high-value deals.

Reporting & CRM Management

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all activity in the CRM (Salesforce).
  • Deliver weekly sales reports including pipeline updates, forecasts, and KPIs.
  • Monitor client feedback and flag risks or opportunities to the leadership team.

On-site Event Delivery & Client Engagement

  • Attend global events series, ensure contractual deliverables are met.
  • Be a visible, confident presence at events to further strengthen relationships
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless client delivery & execution.

What we re looking for

  • Proven track record of 2 5 years in B2B sponsorship sales or media sales.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience managing high-value client accounts.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets in a fast-paced environment.
  • Confident communicator, both written and verbal, with excellent presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and data-driven sales reporting.
  • Comfortable working independently and managing your own pipeline and priorities.
  • Willingness to travel for events (as required).
