Our client is a fast-growing, privately owned fire safety contractor with a turnover in excess of £50 million. They are a leading specialist in fire protection solutions, working across a range of sectors including social housing, healthcare, education, and commercial property. With a reputation for quality delivery and compliance, the business undertakes projects spanning fire door installations and remedials, fire stopping, sprinkler systems, and other passive and active fire safety works.

The Opportunity

They are currently seeking Site Supervisors to oversee fire door remedial works within London. Due to winning multiple contracts across the city, they are looking for experienced Supervisors to join the business and support fire door remediation projects. They have secured multiple projects throughout London; therefore, they are open to considering applicants from London and the Home Counties, provided they have a flexible attitude towards travel.

My client has strong relationships with various Local Council Authorities and Housing Associations, meaning the successful candidates will primarily work on social housing refurbishment projects. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring projects are delivered on time, meet the highest safety and compliance standards, and achieve excellent client satisfaction.

The Role

  • Day-to-day management and supervision of fire door remedial works on occupied housing contracts
  • Coordinating site teams, subcontractors, and resources
  • Ensuring compliance with fire safety standards, H&S regulations, and quality requirements
  • Liaising with residents, clients, and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Driving performance, efficiency, and client satisfaction across multiple sites

About You

  • Experienced in fire door remedials / passive fire safety works (essential)
  • Longevity with current / recent employer (essential)
  • Strong supervisory or site management experience (essential)
  • Good understanding of compliance, regulations, and health & safety (essential)
  • Committed, enthusiastic and ambitious individual (essential)
  • Carpentry and joinery background (preferred)
  • Background in social housing or occupied property environments (preferred)
