Are you a passionate and imaginative Drama Teacher with the ability to bring scripts to life and foster performance skills in young people? An Outstanding mixed-gender secondary school in Brent is looking for a fantastic temporary, part-time Drama Teacher to join their vibrant Performing Arts department for an immediate start. What you'll be doing:

  • You'll be designing and delivering engaging Drama lessons, covering a wide range of theatrical styles, practitioners, and performance techniques, across Key Stages 3 and 4, with exciting potential for Key Stage 5.
  • It's about encouraging creativity, active participation, and individual expression through performance, improvisation, and critical analysis.
  • You'll support and lead various theatrical clubs and productions, contributing to the school's thriving extra-curricular drama programme.

What we're looking for:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialism in Drama.
  • Experience teaching engaging and effective Drama lessons at Key Stages 3 and 4 is highly desirable.
  • Strong theatrical ability, including performance and directing skills, and a broad knowledge of theatre history and contemporary performance.
  • Excellent communication skills, strong classroom management, and a genuine passion for inspiring dramatic talent.
