KS3 Science Coordinator

Location: Ealing

A stimulating opportunity has arisen for a dedicated KS3 Science Coordinator to join a reputable secondary school in Ealing. This key role is for an experienced Science Teacher with a passion for Key Stage 3, who will lead the curriculum, assessment, and pedagogical approaches to ensure all younger students build a strong foundation in scientific understanding and inquiry. The successful candidate will inspire scientific curiosity and prepare students effectively for their GCSE studies.

The Role

The KS3 Science Coordinator will:

  • Lead the development and implementation of an engaging and progressive KS3 Science curriculum (covering Biology, Chemistry, Physics).
  • Oversee assessment, tracking, and monitoring of student progress across Key Stage 3.
  • Support and mentor KS3 Science teachers, sharing best practices and promoting high-quality teaching and learning.
  • Contribute to departmental and whole-school STEM initiatives.
  • Analyse KS3 data to identify areas for intervention and enrichment.

The Ideal Candidate

We are seeking a qualified Science Teacher (QTS/QTLS) who:

  • Has proven experience teaching Science across Key Stages, with a particular strength in KS3.
