This is brilliant chance to join a long standing, well renowned building service provider within London, you'll be given the chance to strengthen your leadership skills, work on a state of the art commercial site and be provided High Voltage (HV) training!For this HV Shift Leader role, you will lead a small team of maintenance engineers, carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on site, provide technical support to your team, act as the first point of contact to the client, update site logbooks / documents and oversee RAMs / Permits for subcontractorsHV Shift Leader Duties:
- PPMs & Reactive maintenance
- Single and Three Phase Power, Motors, Generators (on/off load tests), UPS, LV/HV switching, Shutdowns, Switchgear, Motors, Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarm Test, AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, CRAC units, Sprinkler Systems, Pumps, Belts, Bearings, Seals, BMS Operation
- Carry out isolation of plant and systems in accordance with safety requirements.
- Ensure corrective/repair works are carried out in accordance with regulations.
- Endorse safe working practices, quality standards conformity and best practice methods.
- Organising subcontractors
- Completing logbooks and RAMS
- Reports
- Liaising with client representatives in respect of corrective repair works.
- Permits to work
- Raise and close jobs on PDA's as necessary.
- Fully qualified in electrical engineering / installations (City and Guilds / NVQ / EAL or equivalent)
- Have at least 5 years experience in commercial maintenance
- Ability to lead another engineer
- Client facing attitude
- Possess great knowledge of commercial plant systems.
- High voltage Authorised Person - Desirable, not essential
- £55,000 - £60,000 per annum
- High Voltage + Authorised Person status
- 4 on / 4 off shift pattern, day and night shift
