Children's Social Worker - CP, CIN & Court - Ealing 37.52/hr

Location: Percival House, Ealing Rate: 37.52 per hour (London Pledge capped rate) Hours: 35 per week (office-based 2 days, remote 3 days) Contract: 3-month assignment Caseload: 15-18 children

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Children's Social Worker to join the MAST Hanwell Team in Ealing. This is a frontline statutory role working with Child Protection, Child in Need, and Court proceedings. You will manage a complex caseload, ensuring timely interventions and safeguarding outcomes for children and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake Child Protection investigations, CIN planning, and Section 47 enquiries.
  • Prepare and present court reports, statements, and care plans.
  • Manage complex cases within statutory timescales.
  • Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to safeguard children.
  • Contribute to team duty rota and respond to urgent safeguarding concerns.
Essential Requirements
  • Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration.
  • Proven experience in Child Protection, CIN, and Court work.
  • Ability to manage high-risk cases and meet statutory deadlines.
  • Strong knowledge of Children Act 1989, Working Together to Safeguard Children, and Public Law Outline (PLO).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Working Arrangements
  • Hybrid model: 2 days in the office, 3 days remote.
  • Equipment provided (collection required).
