The Assistant Commercial Accountant will play a vital role in supporting the accounting & finance team for this leading recruitment firm, based in London. This role will require 1-2 years finance experience, strong excel skills and a commercial mindset.

Our client is a leading recruitment firm, based in London with an international presence. They are continuing to grow as a business, and therefore they are looking to expand their commercial finance team with the addition of this role.

Description

  • Supporting the finance team in maintaining financial records and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
  • Assisting in the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports.
  • Conducting financial analysis to support business decision-making.
  • Collaborating with the accounting team to streamline financial processes.
  • Ensuring invoices are processed and paid in a timely manner.
  • Assisting in budget planning and forecasting activities.
  • Maintaining an accurate record of financial transactions.
  • Supporting the Commercial Accountant in ad-hoc accounting projects.

Profile

The successful Assistant Commercial Accountant should have:

  • Previous finance experience
  • Strong excel skills (proven confidence with VLOOKUP & pivot tables)
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A strong understanding of financial regulations and accounting processes.

Job Offer

  • 30,000 - 35,000 salary
  • Permanent contract
