Our client is a leading international specialty insurance firm - we are looking to hire an experienced legal counsel to provide legal and compliance advice to their international businesses.

Key responsibilities

Work closely with the International MGU's and provide legal support on a wide range of delegated authority related matters; Support the International MGU's with successful expansion in new countries; Advise on contract terms and regulatory requirements for a wide range of commercial contracts (vendor agreements, terms of business with insurance brokers, NDA's) Work closely with the US HQ Corporate teams. Profile: Qualified lawyer with at least 5 years of experience as lawyer gained from a law firm and/or inhouse in a business active in the insurance industry; Relevant experience in delegated authority in the insurance industry in and outside the UK. International experience (Middle East, APAC, preferred); Relevant experience advising, drafting and negotiating in common law and civil law jurisdictions; Strong organisational, analytical and negotiation skills, combined with pragmatism and a strong commercial sense; Enjoy a dynamic, international working environment; Occasional international travel will be required.

2-3 days a week in the office required - Central London based.
