This position is ideal for an ambitious Senior Associate with experience in insurance and reinsurance claims, seeking exposure to high-value, complex disputes involving major international insurers and corporate clients.

The successful Senior Associate will join a team renowned for its strength in global insurance disputes, providing high-level support on a wide range of contentious matters. This is a pivotal position for a Senior Associate eager to grow their profile and develop long-standing relationships with some of the industry's most prestigious clients.

The Senior Associate's role

The Senior Associate will manage a diverse caseload of insurance and reinsurance claims, including policy coverage advice, litigation, arbitration, and subrogated recoveries. Work spans both domestic and international jurisdictions, with particular focus on Specialty, Financial Lines, and Directors & Officers (D&O) claims.

As part of an integrated global team, the Senior Associate will be responsible for delivering high-quality client service, mentoring junior lawyers, and supporting business development efforts within the London office and beyond.

To be considered for this Senior Associate position, candidates should ideally be:

  • A qualified solicitor (or equivalent) with 3-10 years' PQE.
  • Experienced in Specialty, Financial Lines, or Directors & Officers (D&O) insurance matters.
  • Confident in handling claims from initial advice through to litigation/arbitration and recovery.
  • Commercially minded, with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A collaborative team player with a proactive and professional approach.
