What You'll Do:

As the Electrical Compliance (EICR) Lead, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and advancing safety standards across all housing assets. Your expertise will ensure that our client meets regulatory compliance and safety benchmarks. Here's what you can expect in this exciting position:

  • Inspection Programme Design: Create a comprehensive programme of inspections that prioritises asset management risks, focusing on the age and condition of electrical installations.
  • Contractor Engagement: Build strong relationships with contractors, ensuring that risk and vulnerability data are aligned to effectively address the needs of residents and the council.
  • Compliance Monitoring: Review and assess the work of contracted electrical engineers to ensure that all projects meet established safety and compliance standards.
  • Remediation Programmes: Oversee the delivery of remediation programmes that reflect the priorities of residents and Ealing Council, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

Who You Are:

We are looking for an experienced electrical engineer with a strong compliance monitoring background. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • In-depth knowledge of building regulations and electrical safety standards.
  • Proven experience in risk assessment and prioritisation.
