Location: Southern Region, covering Kent & Sussex specifically, so you will need to be suitably placed to cover any visits between London and as far as Eastbourne / Hastings / Folkestone where required.Office location will be London Puddle Dock, expected minimum of 2 days in the office per week.
Lead the industrial design of world-class physical devices. Take complex briefs and shape them into simple, elegant, and cohesive design strategies. Define and drive a compelling physical design language across a diverse product portfolio. Collaborate with cross-functional partners across engineering, UI/UX, and product management. Own the full design process - from early concepting and 3D CAD to prototyping and production sign-off. Champion visual storytelling, using sketching, mock-ups, and presentations to communicate ideas with clarity and impact. Mentor and guide other designers, consistently raising standards across the industrial design team.
Strong stakeholder management skills, including ability to communicate complex concepts to non-technical and technical audiences. Taking ownership of NFR, requirement analysis and finalisation and driving non-functional initiatives like Chaos testing Detailed results analysis including application monitoring, identify Performance bottlenecks and recommend/implement improvements or performance optimisation. Mediate potential conflicts and foster solutions-oriented discussions with stakeholders. Establish and maintain efficient and scalable performance testing automation framework. Design, develop and maintain Performance Test scripts. Test execution & co-ordination across multiple external and internal teams for issue resolution. Conduct discovery process to specify scope, extent and type of Performance testing required. Able to define and troubleshoot Test environments to identify issues across System integration or component NFT.
