For over 100 years, the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) has been a leader in creating safer communities, working to prevent the accidents that claim and change lives unnecessarily. As a trusted safety charity with a global reach, RoSPA is committed to achieving its vision of an accident-free world.
We are currently seeking a dedicated External Quality Assurer (EQA) to join our team. This role involves carrying out and documenting quality assurance and practical moderation activities in line with RoSPA and regulatory standards. You will play a crucial part in ensuring that our Centres maintain the highest quality of training and assessment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide quality assurance and practical moderation support to our Centres.
- Maintain effective working relationships with Centres and the RoSPA team.
- Plan and monitor quality assurance activities to meet qualification requirements.
- Deliver accurate and constructive feedback to learners, assessors, and delivery staff.
Essential Criteria:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Significant experience in the Health and Social Care sector.
- A Level 3 (or equivalent) learning and development qualification (e.g., PTLLS, Award in Education and Training, Certificate in Training Practice).
- Experience working in a regulated environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to provide clear and supportive feedback.
Preferred Criteria:
It would be advantageous if you:
- Hold an assessor qualification (e.g., D32/D33, A1/A2, or TAQA Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement) or are working towards the External Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice (TAQA) qualification or its equivalent.
- Have experience quality-assuring regulated qualifications in the Health and Social Care sector.
