Maintenance Supervisor Location: City of London Salary: Competitive + Benefits Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent Our client is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the completion of all reactive and Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tasks, ensuring work is completed on time and to the required standards. You will also support the development of strong relationships with clients and help manage a team of technicians and sub-contractors. Key Responsibilities: Oversee Maintenance Work Orders: Ensure that reactive and PPM tasks are completed on time, meeting KPI and SLA requirements. Record all costs, time, and materials used. Client Satisfaction: Maintain positive client relationships by ensuring high-quality service and clear communication. Breakdown Response: Quickly respond to equipment breakdowns and reactive work requests, ensuring efficient completion and regular updates to stakeholders. Team Supervision: Supervise technical staff and sub-contractors to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality work. Support the development of the team through training and guidance. Health & Safety: Ensure all work is completed in compliance with health and safety standards. Conduct toolbox talks and risk assessments as required. Site Inspections: Regularly inspect areas and equipment to ensure they are clean, safe, and well-maintained. Report and address any defects found.About you You will have a trade background, ideally Carpentry, and be qualified to NVQ3 or equivalent. Your experience will be in Maintenance or a similar role, with knowledge of PPM and reactive maintenance. Good communication skills, with the ability to build positive client relationships. Leadership experience, with the ability to manage and support a small team. Understanding of health and safety procedures and risk management. Ability to complete tasks efficiently and to a high standard. Flexibility to work out-of-hours when required.
