Public Policy Manager

Duration - 12 months

Hybrid, London

We are looking for an analytical thinker with experience in policy, government, business operations, or consulting.

The team's mission is to create and communicate rules for our products that empower expression and foster a safe environment for people across our platforms.

The role involves working closely with a number of other teams at Facebook and Instagram, including our Product, Global Operations, Legal, Communications, and Public Policy teams, as well as managing high-priority policy escalations. This can mean making difficult decisions, under pressure. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree, 5+ years experience in project management, policy development, government, or operations.

Demonstrated analytical-thinking and problem-solving experience.

Experience communicating cross-functionally, particularly in the area of consensus-building and persuasion.

Ability to work with potentially graphic and objectionable content, Strong written and verbal communication.
